Hi Reader,

Meridith Taylor Strout is a children’s book author, speaker and educator with a background in early literacy. Her debut book, The More the Merrier, combines storytelling with a multisensory approach to help young readers understand the importance of inclusion, kindness, and belonging. Through her work, she is passionate about creating engaging learning experiences that support all children, especially diverse learners.

School Visits

As a former elementary school educator, Meridith loves classroom read-a-louds and is very interactive and animated. She would love to visit your school, classroom, or home school communities and engage students in a hands-on experience with her book while also conveying the message of inclusion. This would be a great opportunity for music educators and a great introduction to the different percussion instruments that are feathered in the book (tambourine, maracas, wood sounder, chime bar and hand bells).
